Muslims Protest Over Blasphemous Speech Against Prophet Mohammed In India

Thousands of Muslims across India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan came out in their numbers after the Friday prayers, calling for the arrest and punishment of politicians in the ruling party who made some derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad some days ago.

According to the information gotten, two members belonging to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made some comments that were deemed offensive and blasphemous in nature against the prophet and his wife Aisha. Even though one of them has been expelled and the other suspended by the ruling party, Muslims around India and the world believe that punishment isn’t enough.

The politicians who made such comments are spokeswoman Nupur Sharma and Delhi Media Cell head Naveen Kumar Jindal, and until these two individuals are severely punished, the protest won’t stop.

They want the ruling party to know that the hate that has been directed against Muslims in India can be tolerated, but they must know that an insult against Prophet Muhammad will not be tolerated.
